Day 3
Transportation will pick you up early in the morning to take you on one of the most popular and fun adventure activity to do in Costa Rica: White Water Rafting. The one day rafting tour is usually a II or III class difficulty for beginners. The two major rivers are the Pacuare and the Reventazon River. Both offer beautiful views and exciting rapids that will give you a thrill to remember! White Water Rafting in Costa Rica has been widely popular for more than 20 years and counts with the most experienced guides in the area. Beautiful canyons as well as fascinating flora and fauna will make you want to come back for more.
The White Water Rafting Tour includes breakfast, bilingual guide, all necessary equipment and lunch.
Transportation will take you back to your Hotel Pure in San Jose.
Day 4
This day has been reserved for a lighter tour in which you can “rest” before hitting the beach. This one day tour is called the San Jose City Explorer tour and will take you through the most important areas of Costa Rica’s capital city. Transportation will pick you up at Hotel Pure from which you will start by visiting San José’s metropolitan park La Sabana. La Sabana was once Costa Rica’s International Airport and is now a recreational area for Costa Ricans. The former Control Tower and terminal today houses the Costa Rican National Museum of Modern Art. The tour will then drive you through the Rohmoser Residential area of San Jose where Costa Rica’s current president lives. Lunch will be served at the typical Jicaras del Campo Restaurant at Sabana Sur. After lunch, the bus will drive you along Paseo Colon until you reach the National Theatre. The National Theatre was built back in 1897 and is one of Costa Rica’s most treasured landmarks. You will also visit the Museum of Gold as well as the National Museum. A drive through the Judicial Circuit, National Park and National Library is also part of the itinerary before you are taken to El Pueblo Tourists Center. El Pueblo resembles an old town with narrow streets and two story houses. You will have an evening coffee at the Lukas Restaurant and some time on your own for visiting the local souvenir shops.
Transportation will drop you off at Hotel Pure at the end of the tour.
Day 5 - 6
