Costa Rica Nature Tour $609 per adult

The Turu Ba Ri Tropical Park sits on the Central Pacific area of Costa Rica and is a great place for spending your day.  With over 600 acres of unspoiled ground, the richness and variety of the flora and fauna is wonderful.  Enjoy a ride on the European style aerial tram which will take you over the Tarcoles River to later continue on foot throughout the property.  Be prepared to photograph iguanas, butterflies, toucans and other exotic local animals.  After your stroll, enjoy a delicious Costa Rican typical lunch cocked on wood stoves.  Other activities include canopy, the sensational cable, climbing and rappel.

Day 3 - 4
Transportation will be ready to drive you to Tortuguero where you will experience first hand its incredible biological diversity.  If you plan your trip around July to October, you will have the opportunity to witness the magnificent event of seeing the Atlantic Green Turtles nesting on the beach.  Throughout the year you will be able to see incredible wildlife such as monkeys, crocodiles, iguanas and over 300 different species of birds.

Tortuguero is a network of canals and lakes which can be navigated by boat.  As a matter of fact, the only access is by air, boat or on foot.

Your adventure in Tortuguero includes accommodations in comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, hot water, ceiling fans, and relaxing chairs.  Hotel facilities include swimming pool, Jacuzzi, relaxing areas with hammocks, natural trails and much more.

Day 5
Transportation will be ready to drive you back to your Hotel Pure in San Jose upon check out.  Rest of the day off at your convenience.

Day 6
We will leave towards the northern pacific beaches of Costa Rica to the town of Tamarindo. Tamarindo is a one of Costa Rica’s most popular beaches located in Guanacaste. The town is full of life and with many activities to carry out.

Day 6
Transportation will pick you up at Hotel Pure to take you to the Poas Volcano which sits at 8,200 feet above sea level.  The Poas Volcano is one of the most visited volcanoes in the country due to its convenient location and for having the largest crater of an active volcano (1.5 kilometers in diameter).   The Poas Volcano National Park offers four different habitats within its 13,830 acres along with a great variety of bird species and mammals.

After your morning in the park, transportation will drive you to the nearby La Paz Waterfalls Gardens.  The park has well over 2 miles of walking trails which will guide you through a beautiful Butterfly Observatory, Hummingbird Garden, Serpentarium, Frog Exhibit, old Costa Rican “Tica” House, Trout Lake, bird watching areas and of course to the waterfalls.  Buffet lunch is included and offers from rotisserie chicken, hot dogs and pizza to the typical Costa Rican lunch.

Transportation will be waiting to take you back to Hotel Pure.

Day 7
Transportation will pick you up at the hotel to drive you to the Juan Santamaria International airport for your journey back home.
