Day 1
Arrival to San Jose, Costa Rica. Pick up at the Airport and Transfer to Hotel Pure San Jose.

Day 2
Transportation will be ready to drive you to Tortuguero where you will experience first hand its incredible biological diversity. If you plan your trip around July to October, you will have the opportunity to witness the magnificent event of seeing the Atlantic Green Turtles nesting on the beach. Throughout the year you will be able to see incredible wildlife such as monkeys, crocodiles, iguanas and over 300 different species of birds.

Tortuguero is a network of canals and lakes which can be navigated by boat. As a matter of fact, the only access is by air, boat or on foot.

Your adventure in Tortuguero includes accommodations in comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, hot water, ceiling fans, and relaxing chairs. Hotel facilities include swimming pool, Jacuzzi, relaxing areas with hammocks, natural trails and much more.

Day 3
Transportation will drive you back to Hotel Pure San Jose. The rest of the day will be off for you to explore the local Museums, Theatres and Night Life.

Day 4
Transportation will be ready to drive us to the Poas Volcano. The scenic ride will take us through a green countryside filled with lush vegetation and acres of coffee plantations. The Poas Volcano is famous for having the largest accessible craters in the world. Walk up to the edge of the crater and peer down to its blue lagoon and observe some of its few active fumaroles. The Botos crater is the volcano’s secondary crater which can be reached after a short walk through the area’s unique dwarf cloud forest.

We will later continue our trip to the Doka Estate Coffee Tour where we will learn about the process involved behind a delicious cup of coffee. We will learn about the history of the farm, the history of Costa Rican coffee as well as the growing and brewing process. After the tour, we will enjoy a delicious typical Costa Rican lunch served at the farm.

We will leave the Doka Estate on our way to the colorful town of Sarchí where you can enjoy and buy beautiful Costa Rican artisan woodwork, hand painted oxcarts and handicrafts.

We will continue from here towards the town of La Fortuna where we will spend the night at the beautiful Arenal Kioro Hotel. Enjoy the spectacular view of the Arenal Volcano from your private balcony or terrace or while relaxing in the hotel’s own private hot Springs.

Day 5
We will leave towards the northern pacific beaches of Costa Rica to the town of Tamarindo. Tamarindo is a one of Costa Rica’s most popular beaches located in Guanacaste. The town is full of life and with many activities to carry out.

Day 6
Enjoy a pleasant horseback ride with your family through the beautiful Guanacaste countryside while learning about the local wildlife, trees and culture from your naturalist guide.

The rest of the day is off for your enjoyment at the beach or at the vibrant town of Tamarindo.

Day 7
Enjoy the morning at the beach or exploring the rest of the town of Tamarindo.Transportation will be ready to drive us back to downtown San Jose in the afternoon.

Day 8
Transportation will take you the airport for your departure back home.
