Finally writing a review 7 days after my stay at Colon Caribe. I was planning to do this much earlier! 

I try to take the rankings on this website with a grain of salt, but the Colon Caribe definitely deserves the #1 spot for Cahuita. My girlfriend Kelly and I stayed in one of the superb bungalows 5 nights at the beginning of March and it was perfect. A beach all to ourselves at times, amazing hosts.  

As someone with a distaste for big resorts, looking for a relaxing beach location, Colon Caribe truly fit what I had in mind. After I’m done seeing the rest of the world, I’ll be back. Although I might not be able to hold out that long.
