This was our second trip to Quepos. Our last trip down was in
early January.
Parador is by far the best place to stay! With a great location, very close to the national park and steps away from some of the nicest beaches in Costa Rica.
The rooms were extremely clean and spacious, we spent most of the mornings just relaxing in and watching the monkeys play!
The people there are extremely friendly and helpful. From helping us book our daily tours to taking us out to show us what a great night life Quepos and Manuel Antonio has to offer. The manager was just as great!
All in all Parador is by far the best place to be in Quepos and surrounding areas. George pay’s attention to every little detail. We normally stay at 5 Star resorts but we decided to give it a shot. It was the best decision we made. Can’t wait to go back!

The Hotel Parador was an excellent place to stay. The room was lovely, had candles and fresh flowers and the towels were arranged each day in a different shape. Breakfast was exeptional. The walk to
the beach was under 10 minutes. From our private terrace we could hear the ocean, birds and monkeys. It stands apart from many of the more elaborate hotels in Quepos, an aspect which we found most appealing.
The best thing about being there were Jorge and Marcos. These two wonderful hosts shared much valuable information which lead us to great little out of the way gems.
If you like a clean and simple and very welcoming atmosphere, then this is the place for you.

You cannot go wrong by staying at the Hotel Parador. The location is beyond compare. The hotel sits on a promontory with almost 360 degrees of views and the grounds are immacculately maintained with every amenity and comfort. Our rooms were most comfortable and clean with excellent views and we actually found them very reasonable all things considered. We even saw some white faced monkies in the trees by our room.
There doesn’t seem to be much missing here. The spa was a real treat and the kids loved the two family pools with infinity views to the ocean beyond, although I confess I did sneak off for some peace and quiet to the adult pool. Great idea.
Quepos is just 5 minutes away by hotel shuttle and the Manuel Antonio Park is not much further. It was nice to be picked up by the hotel shuttle and not have to schlepp around in the heat and humidity and finally arrive at the hotel with all its creature comforts. The hotel staff were absolutely marvellous at lining up all our activity plans. Our biggest problem was deciding what to do but settled on white water rafting and canopy adventure. We’ll definitely come back to carry on the adventure.
The restaurant was undoubtedly the best we found in the area. Breakfast was a great spread and the dinner menu was superb in content and presentation. They have even included a few local indigenous dishes which were delicious. The service was utterly impeccible. The same at the bars and as we lounged around the hotel’s facilities.
I would not even bother researching another place to stay in the area. Next time I head back…..and I will…..

If you are searching for a tropical paradise, Hotel Parador is the spot. At the end of a long and windy road, you will be surprised to find a paradise with endless views of the ocean and rain forest. The people, the surroundings, the climate are a perfect mix to truely become your paradise. I enjoyed my stay there so much, I booked my wedding there.

My fiancee and I just returned from this paradise. a wonderful resort in the middle of beautiful surroundings. People could not have been nicer, and the service was first rate. At the tour desk Corina helped us put together many memorable tours and days in Costa Rica.
Relaxation or activites, this country and resort offers it all. Hotel Parador was a beautiful resort on a mountain overlooking the pacific. Daily breakfast was superb and the food was very good. Overall, this vacation was probably my favorite.
