At the Parador everything was awesome. The staff was courteous the food was unbelievable. The rooms, the elevator, the pool, the wildlife was astounding. Actually we were in the rainforest all day. Anyway saw two different sets of monkeys. That is the other thing. When you’re there make sure that you go down the street to a restaurant that monkeys often frequent. If you are lucky enough to see them they go into the restaurant takes the food it wants and runs away. The whole display went on for twenty min. They are also very tame, my sister and I even got close enough to take a picture. Also ask for the Night Hike at the tour desk. It is a little eerie, but you see some amazing wildlife.

Stayed for five nights, April 3rd-8th, from the minute we arrived to our departure everything was flawless. The very young staff went way out of the way to accommodate all the guests, you could clearly see that they actually liked their job.

The people of Costa Rica are very friendly. I thought we would have problems with dining reservations as we have with other hotels, none at all. We simply phoned each morning and always had the time confirmed we wanted, the resort was completely full during our stay yet you would never know it.

The food far exceed all expectations, we had many choices in the restaurant.

Me and my girlfriend just spent 8 magnificent days in this wonderful yoga and spa retreat. This was our best vacation ever.
We had been treated as a loving members of the Family.
The staff created a true spiritual enclave in the middle of the beautiful tropical forest where howler monkeys and exotic birds were our frequent visitors.
Delicious vegetarian food prepared by the Chef was amazing .
Yoga was excellent, good for all levels of experience, made us feel balanced and energized for entire day.
A great yoga teacher who helps to adjust to one”s body ability.
True experts in feet reflexology massage and we both enjoyed soothing touch of his hands.
All of them are truly help you to calm down your mind, relax and nourish your body and uplift your soul.

We already are planning to go there again and repeat our unforgettable experience.

This is completely a 5 star resort with wonderful views, wonderful location with respect to Puerto Quepos, wonderful room and excellent food. The breakfast that is included with your stay is really tasty and you can choose what you want from their typical menu - which is really unusual for an “included breakfast”. Every morning was a delightful experience in their tastefully decorated restaurant that had ocean views and wonderful fresh squeezed juice.

The rooms are extremely comfortable, clean and beautiful. During the day, we spent time by the pool sipping their wonderful drinks (I am serious about this - the best margarita ever). My husband boogie boarded a bit on a few of the days in the enormous waves and had a wonderful time. The beach is a bit dangerous on one side of the property but it is beautiful and we saw a troop of about 15 monkies go through the property in the middle of the day on one occasion.

The staff was EXTREMELY helpful in reserving our activities and flights (we hadn’t decided how we were going to get to San Jose - but they took care of it all - finding the least expensive and time efficient route). They were extremely flexible and changed the dates of our stay when I was making the reservations and even changed the dates of one of our activities when one of the members of our group got sick. We are definitely going to return to El Parador and it will likely be the reason for our return to Costa Rica with our family in the future!

We visited Parador during the last week of September. While it was the rainy season the majority of the time it was sunny and beautiful. We were lucky enough to stay at one of the new rooms and enjoyed all the luxuries of home. The suite was well maintained and cleaned every single day. You get a remarkable view from the second story balcony of the lush hillside and property. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and made the trip memorable.

Located on Quepos we where graced by visits from the local animal community almost daily. We were awed by the natural splendor of the entire area including the diverse plants on the property. We were able to film deer, howler monkeys, spider monkeys, sloths, poison dart frogs, crabs, birds, and many beautiful sunsets/sunrises.

It was one of the best trips that I have taken, in one of the most beautiful areas of the world, among some of the nicest people. If you have one vacation next year, make in Quepos. If you want great quality at a reasonable price, make it  El Parador. It really is a diamond hidden in the jungle.

We will definitely be trying to get back there as soon as possible.
