Great exotic jungle lodge. The tour guides are extremely nice and helpful. Everyone spoke perfect English, and the surroundings are enchanting. The location and layout of the resort are great … deep in the coastal rainforest.

Went to the Manatus Hotel and had a great time. The place is pretty nice, ( be careful though, when it rains, and it does). The food was great and the people were awesome. I did the most of the tours and my husband did the fishing. I must say I made out better than he.

Did some kayaking and saw Sloths, Monkeys, crocodiles, many different species of birds, butterflies and frogs. The fishing was not as great. Could not get out to the sea, due to high waves or low tide and nothing biting in the canals. Saw a lot of Tarpon roll, but none were hungry. The guides they have seem to know the area and were with us at all times. Would recommend Manatus and plan to go again.

We got there by plane and a real gentleman received us with a welcoming smile, we started just perfect, we really felt the warmth of Costa Rican people.

Beautiful, spacious and comfty rooms. The food just perfect and even plates a la carte where included on the all inclusive package. Tip, get a massage at sunset, it just relaxes you and feel like in heaven. The staff who truly cared about whether or not we had everything we wanted and more.

Protected wild life that we could checked out from our boat. That was a PLUS! Perfectly kept gardens, always clean paths, just perfect!

Hotel Manatus is a gift to weary travelers and adventurers alike and I can’t wait to go back.
