We stayed at the L´acqua Viva for 5 nights and they were all great. The service was excellent and the rooms were spotless. Fresh linens and wonderful soaps and shampoos in the rooms. They serviced a complimentary breakfast each morning off a wide selection menu of (pancakes, waffles, eggs, local dishes as well)

Lunch and dinner were equally as delicious and very well priced. The room rate per night was a little pricey compared to the other hotels in town but that was because of the high service levels and all the extras.

I would certainly go back again and I, for sure will recommend it to every one I run into.

Words can hardly do justice to the experience we had at this wonderful beach resort. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality, it was a welcome change from the norm of service nowadays. What’s nicest about the resort is its privacy.

Dining at L’acqua Viva is something that shouldn’t be missed either. Dinner was exceptional and probably one of the best meals we had while in Costa Rica, thanks in large part to the freshness of all the ingredients. Lunch at the poolside cabana was light and refreshing which complimented the laid-back atmosphere.

What really sets the resort apart (in addition to its direct access to the beach) is the staff. Management opted to hire locals. The charming group of staff members makes sure that every inquiry is taken care of and is done so with great attention and care. We were greeted warmly with open arms and a desire to make our stay more enjoyable.

Overall this is an exceptional experience to have while staying in L’acqua Viva. The unpretentious atmosphere makes the property warm and inviting. If you’re looking for privacy, the beach, and one-of-a-kind service, L’acqua Viva is truly the place to visit!

When I first went to Costa Rica in 2003 I was supposed to stay here but my friend and I got transfered to another hotel. I fell in love with the country and next year decided to got back and see what Hotel L’acqua Viva  was like. Only thing, I couldn’t find anyone to go with.

I am an adventurous but shy person and have never been anywhere alone. But I missed Costa Rica so much I had to go myself. Let me tell you I almost chikened out at the airport. I’m so glad I didn’t because going there was the best thing I have ever done in my life.

L’acqua Viva Is The Best!!!!!!!!!!

The staff were so friendly I even stayed in touch with a few. I met so many friendly people from all over and went on a few tours that were set up right in the hotel lobby the Guides were knowledgable and friendly(as is everyone in Costa Rica). I loved it so much I wen’t again the next year alone again and did the rest ouf the tours and had a blast.

I have been at this spacific hotel 3 times and recomend it to all who want to go to Costa Rica.
