I had to pat myself on the back when we pulled up to this place - it was exactly the place I would have chosen if I’d had the opportunity to drive through the area and hand pick a spot.

I cannot say enough good things about Cuna del Angel! It is one of the most beautiful locations that I have ever been to, with the waves of the Pacific crashing onto the rocks all day, and lit at night by lights, what an amazing show!

In addition to the amazing location, the staff took every measure possible to ensure that we had everything that we needed, or wanted. The staff brought in a massage therapist, and manicurist for us and booked dinners and tours.

We loved it so much that we are already planning our next trip to Costa Rica to stay at Cuna del Angel.

Last March, could be described very easily: AMAZING. Why? Simply because it has been my very first time when I’m able to come back from a vacation where I can say that I don’t have to take “vacations for my vacations”, if you know what I mean by that. Typically I take vacations about three times a year. Normally, I tried to do and see everything on a very short limited time, leaving me with no time to relax.

By the time I’m back from vacations, I’m exhausted and need more time off to recuperate. This time, it was not the case. Once you get out of San Jose (which is not the most pleasant experience) you are heading for a wonderful experience. At your arrival at Cuna del Angel, you feel like if you have arrived at The Fantasy Island (I’m giving away my age). You definitively are in another world where time doesn’t exist.

Everything is very simple, but very elegant. The pool area is very relaxing and you will see toucans flying by or standing on any of the many trees that surround Cuna del Angel.

I think this place attracts wonderful people. To this day, we keep in touch with new friends (other guests) that we met there during our visit.

I can’t say enough great things about Cuna del Angel. We feel very lucky to have found it and I have recommended it to all my close friends. We left knowing that we will be back again soon this year. It’s that great of a slice!
