A couple of friends, my husband and I came for a week at Valle Escondido. Price is good and amenities are numerous. You are definitely being pampered here. There is a full service spa with a pool in a solarium with nobody ever in it! The gym and the racquetball court is one you would join at home. The resort is very well taken care of from the manicured grounds to the clean rooms.

The place was very quiet which was nice and the owner’s even stopped in to say hi while we ate our breakfast…..they have done a really nice job creating a little paradise!

The most important thing that I almost forgot! There is also a scenic 9-hole Golf Course available for a challenging round of golf. Carts, clubs and balls are available.

I loved this hotel. Most of the staff have worked at the hotel for many years and it shows. Everyone is pleasant and efficient and ready to help. The tour guide, is a delight and booked us on a terrific tour. The rooms are spacious and have the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in a hotel. Hans, the owner, is often on the property and his attention to detail shows not only in the rooms but in the beautiful gardens on the hotel grounds. Go to the bar and say “hi” to Carlos the bartender and enjoy a delicious octopus salad. I can’t wait to go back this was a memorable experience.
