When I first went to Costa Rica in 2003 I was supposed to stay here but my friend and I got transfered to another hotel. I fell in love with the country and next year decided to got back and see what Hotel L’acqua Viva  was like. Only thing, I couldn’t find anyone to go with.

I am an adventurous but shy person and have never been anywhere alone. But I missed Costa Rica so much I had to go myself. Let me tell you I almost chikened out at the airport. I’m so glad I didn’t because going there was the best thing I have ever done in my life.

L’acqua Viva Is The Best!!!!!!!!!!

The staff were so friendly I even stayed in touch with a few. I met so many friendly people from all over and went on a few tours that were set up right in the hotel lobby the Guides were knowledgable and friendly(as is everyone in Costa Rica). I loved it so much I wen’t again the next year alone again and did the rest ouf the tours and had a blast.

I have been at this spacific hotel 3 times and recomend it to all who want to go to Costa Rica.

Thank you Hotel L’acqua Viva Resort & Spa for some of the best memories of my life!

My boyfriend, his brother and I visited Costa Rica. The hotel was clean, staff was really friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed interacting with Javier. The staff spoke english and were always eager to assist us with whatever we needed. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is always cleaning the grounds. WE booked 5 tours and enjoy all of them very much. The breakfast in the dining room was impressive. I opted for a homemade omelet and a fresh yogurt and fruit drink everyday. The selection of food was good. Breakfast comes with your stay. The staff at the restaurant was good as well.

Being from New York I can be kind of fussy. We thought the price of the hotel was good , we booked it, I was worried it would be dirty. It was not at all. The rooms are dated and they were clean and perfect to sleep in, we were to busy exploring. I really enjoyed being close to the ocean.

Jaco beach is really a surfers beach. The current is very very strong. We kind of played in the water. We did not swim in it. The life guard was very attentive in telling us where the safest area to swim was located. It was really interesting watching people of all ages surfing. The beach is a rock beach. The town of Jaco was interesting. We tried many of the establishments along the main street. The food was so good.

My favorite place to eat was Hicaco seafood restuarant. It was pricey yet it was the best seafood I have ever tasted. It is also right on the beach. There are places all over Jaco. We shopped and bought many beatiful pieces of wood , jewerly boxes, boxes..etc. The wood is amazing. I have never seen this kind of wood being sold in NYC. As far as safety in Jaco, be smart and just relax. No one bothered us, we walked all over at all times.

It is a perfect spot in the center of everything we needed. It is also only 2 hours from San Jose airport. We plan on going backto Balcon del Mar at Jaco Beach next year.

Thank you everyone that works there, you were wonderful. Keep up the good work.

Thank you.

We just returned from our stay at Bahia del Sol — we had a wonderful time. We were supposed to stay at another hotel but they overbooked (due to Easter Weekend) and transferred us to Bahia del Sol. It is a beautiful hotel. The rooms were perfect and the service and the view made it better. The hotel was not crowded so we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The service was great - everyone was so nice.
