My wife and I just spent a few days at La Quinta. We found the facility and the staff to be warm and accommodating. Almost everybody spoke English. The meals are buffet style so you can choose from a wide variety. The grounds are well tended top and include a butterfly garden, ponds, trails and a few lovely spots to sit and watch birds, read, chat or daydream.
This was one of four places we stayed at and found it to be the most enjoyable.

17 Standard rooms and 2 Jr. Suites. Great hotel, on the beach and with a surf break right in front of it. All they had available was a Jr. Suite and I was just looking for a standard room but for the few dollars extra it was worth it.

The staff was quite helpful with all of my requests. Very quiet and laid back atmosphere right on the beach, also much cleaner than the beach at Jaco.

Fuego del Sol offers just enough comfort for us to relax while reminding us why we love vacationing in CR in the first place.
